Haryana
verdict bursts the illusion bubble In Lok Sabha election number of seats of
Bharatiya Janata Party decreased compared to 2019.Many analysts and journalists
were extremely happy with this result. The number of people predicting that
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s charisma is over, alliance partners of National
Democratic Alliance at the Center will not stay with BJP for long, the Modi
government will not last for long, has increased enormously.
Many
people started daydreaming that after Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand
assembly elections, Modi government would collapse and Rahul Gandhi would
become the Prime Minister.
Out
of these Haryana Assembly election result was announced recently. This result
burst the bubble of many. People who were claiming that BJP will be finished in
Haryana and Congress will get thumping majority have fell flat on their face
after Haryana verdict.
These
analysts, journalists and intellectuals were confident that the agitation by
various farmers’ organizations in Punjab and Haryana and agitation by women
wrestlers in Haryana against Modi government has created a wave against
Bhartiya Janata Party and by taking its advantage congress will come to power
with huge majority.
These analysts,
journalists were giving instances of the Lok Sabha election in Haryana.
Bhartiya Janata Party, which won all the 10 seats of Lok Sabha in Haryana in
2014, 2019, could win only 5 seats this time.
After
Lok Sabha results, Haryana’s woman wrestler Vinesh Phogat could not get the
Olympic medical due to a technical reason of weight gain.
Some
people had spread propaganda that Vinesh lost this medal because of central
government. Vinesh herself had alleged that she lost her medal because of the
Modi government only.
It
was obvious that Indian people had a sympathy for Vinesh, who lost her medal.
It was also natural that this sympathy would be much more in Haryana.
In
this background Vinesh Phogat joined the Congress and got the Congress
candidature as well. Vinesh comes from the same Jat community, leaders of which
had tried to corner the Modi government through farmers’ agitation.
Wrestlers
like Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia actively supported Vinesh’s agitation. In this
background, these analysts predicted that the Jat Community which constitutes
more than 25 percent of the population in Haryana, will come together to vote
against BJP and single-handedly overturn the BJP’s power.
These
predictions were further backed by exit polls. The counting began with the
postal votes. As soon as the news of Congress leading in about 65 seats
appeared on the news channels, these analysts and thinkers were overjoyed.
After the counting of
postal votes, the actual vote counting started and when the picture started
getting clear that Bhartiya Janata party was in the lead and lead was not going
to decrease, these analysts and Congress supporters who were flying high started
coming down.
After
their crash landing, blame game on government machinery and EVMs began as
usual. The congress was relying on the Jat community for the victory, but in
reality Bhartiya Janata Party won almost the same number of seats in the area
where Jat community was influential.
Congress
and its supporters spread the false narrative during Lok Sabha election that
constitution will be changed and reservation will be abolished, but the voters
of Haryana through the ballot box, have made it clear to them that the warranty
of this false propaganda is now over.
The
people of Haryana have unequivocally shown their preference for the good
governance provided by the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the last 10
years while giving a tight slap to the lies of the Congress. 9 year tenure of
Manoharlal Khattar and 1 year tenure of Nayab Singh Saini followed by that was
dominated by many welfare schemes.Opposition, journalists could not make a
single allegation of corruption, mismanagement against BJP government in the
last 10 years.
After
comparing the experience of corruption during Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s 10 year
tenure as Chief Minister to BJP’s clean government in the last 10 years, common
voters have elected BJP government for the third consecutive term.
The BJP has increased the
compensation to farmers for crop losses due to natural calamities to Rs 15,000
per acre. Till 2013 the compensation was Rs 6 thousand per acre.
In
the last 9 years, the farmers of Haryana have received compensation of 11
thousand crores from the state government in their bank accounts.
Few
farmers’ organization in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have started
agitation for minimum support price for agricultural produce. For the same
demand the activists of these organizations blocked the national highway on
Delhi border.
Now
these protestors have been protesting on the Shambhu border of Haryana-Punjab
for several months. The BJP government in Haryana decided to purchase 24 crops
at minimum support price (MSP).
Not
a single leader of the protesting farmers’ organizations showed the courtesy of
congratulating the BJP government on this.
Not
a single leader of the protesting farmers’ organizations has dared to ask that
if Haryana government can purchase 24 crops at MSP, then why can’t Punjab
government do the same? Political analysts who claim that farmers are upset
with the BJP government must not have realized the significance of the Nayab
Singh Saini government’s decision to purchase 24 crops at MSP.
One
could not get a government job without paying bribe during the tenure of Hooda
government. In the last 10 years, the recruitment of 1.10 lakh employees of the
Haryana government was done in a transparent manner without paying a single
penny through the ‘Mission Merit’ campaign.
Thousands
of youth from deprived, exploited community have got government jobs. BJP
government has distributed 5.50 lakh tablets to students in government schools.
Therefore,
the dream of e-learning for ordinary students has come true. The BJP government
also took decisions like increasing the limit of creamy layer for the OBC
community to 8 lakhs, increasing the OBC reservation limit in Municipal
Corporations and Panchayats.
Voters
who have benefited from such public welfare schemes have given the power to BJP
for the third consecutive term by rejecting the false propaganda of Congress.
In the Lok Sabha elections, the number of seats of Congress has increased from
52 to 99 seats.
Under
the illusion that the performance of Congress improved only because of Rahul
Gandhi’s leadership, many anti-BJP journalists started worshiping Rahul Baba.
Haryana’s voters have destroyed Rahul Baba’s fake _’jalebi factory’_ in a
single swoop.
